I finally realised one of my long term ambitions with the publication of my first book: Ira Losco a Photographic Journal by Allen Venables, and it’s not for the faint hearted Weighing in at over 2 kg and 400 pages the book follows Ira Losco & Band over a 4 year period, in pictures. The book is full of live concerts, fashion and advertising shoots and behind the scenes glimpses that fans very rarely get to see. I literally lost count of the hours I spent designing and artworking the book but its publication by Allied Publications just before Christmas last year is one of my proudest achievements to date. I would like to publicly thank Ira Losco and Howard Keith for their co-operation and sheer hard work on this project. The band, the crew and everyone else invloved in bringing this dream to fruition. Last but not least to all at Allied Publishing for their hard work, patience and excellent results.
